Alien Garden Quartz Crystal Skull – Chlorite Inclusions

This alien crystal skull is carved from Brazilian garden quartz — a clear quartz with natural chlorite and lodolite inclusions trapped inside the stone. It was hand-carved by Walmere and weighs 816 grams. Garden quartz is also known as shaman stone or lodolite quartz, and pieces with this level of visible internal character are always one of a kind.

Stone Character

The quartz itself has decent transparency, enough that light moves through it and picks up the detail inside. The most noticeable feature is the chlorite — dark green to near-black clusters and scattered particles that sit throughout the interior, concentrated more heavily across the face and lower half of the skull. Along the upper right side of the cranium and toward the back, there are patches of earthy, iron-rich material in rusty pinks and browns. These sit partly on the surface and partly embedded in the stone, adding a raw, natural contrast against the clearer quartz areas.

When you look through the skull from different angles, the chlorite and lodolite inclusions shift and change. Some areas are densely populated with dark floating particles, while others open up into clearer windows. The overall effect gives the stone a lot of internal depth.

Carving

The alien-style carving has a narrow, tapered chin and a smooth, rounded cranium. The eyes are large and almond-shaped with clean, defined ridges. Walmere has kept the proportions balanced — the forehead is broad and the jaw narrows to a subtle point, giving the skull a distinctive silhouette without overdoing the alien features. The polish is smooth across the face and cranium, though the areas with heavier surface inclusions retain a slightly more textured feel where the natural material comes through.
